Preoccupied as we are with solutions to the immediate problems of business management, we often fail to take the time to sit back and assess what is going on around us. True, we explore the past to find and correct our mistakes and to learn from our achievements. We even attempt to look ahead in an effort to identify new opportunities for growth and sucess. Most of us tend to be objective, analytical, and totally committed to entrepreneurship, but we have the tendency to become so involved in our dayto-day activities that we often do not see the broad-gauge trends taking shape around us.
