1.- Level of conviction of the editorial policy.

Defining the journal in terms of its scope

Our journal is an editorial project at the service of administrative science researchers around the world. We wish to publish the avant-garde in the field of research on Administration, favoring topics and subjects that have been little studied.

Thematic uniqueness

Our return visit is aimed at researchers in Administrative Science. We wish to publish research articles, with representative samples that study topics and research subjects little studied using methodologies with rigorous data validation instruments such as: Primary exploration techniques: Cluster analysis, Analysis of exploratory factors, multidimensional scaling, regression analysis logistic and multiple regression. Second generation multivariate techniques such as: Partial Least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and Confirmatory factor analysis and Covariance based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) are particularly welcome. Likewise, we wish to publish research that uses complex systems techniques such as complex network analysis, agent-based modeling, multi-agent models that identify patterns of organizational and administrative behavior. Qualitative type investigations are welcome as long as they have rigorous hermeneutic analysis designs with an identification of analysis categories that preferably use semantic analysis software such as Atlas ti. Both types of research represent 75% of what is published in each issue of the journal. Although we do not underestimate the works of theoretical review and reflection, these must address problems, subjects, groups, groups of companies or institutions on which there is little literature or that constitute, due to their approach and quality of analysis, vanguards in the field of administrative science, reviewing literature that is in the state of the art of the field, meaning literature on the last five years. Review or reflection articles in no case exceed 25% of what is published annually in our magazine

All the members that make up the editorial committee, as well as those who act as referees, hold the degree of Doctor (PhD) and are members of the National System of Researchers or professors from foreign countries with an academic hierarchy equivalent to that of a professor in the Anglo-Saxon world. All the members of the editorial committee are scientists of high academic prestige who are leaders in their fields of knowledge. It is reiterated that all the articles received will be arbitrated by two members of the journal's portfolio of referees under the "double blind" modality, to guarantee their inclusion in indexes of Mexican and foreign journals of greater prestige. Articles submitted by researchers from the National Polytechnic Institute will be externally evaluated by two referees from other institutions under the "double-blind" modality.

It should not have more than 10 words and should include the research subjects and the time and space horizon, clearly mentioning where and when the research was done. If this was done in the same year, it will not be necessary to indicate it.

The analytical summary (no more than 150 words) should also contain five to seven keywords from the article. Likewise, graphs, tables, images and other elements must be attached in Power Point and inserted in the same Word document and must be prepared, without shadows or other graphic effects, following the style mentioned later in the specific guidelines section. of form and style. call for articles

The submitted articles will be put under the attention of two experts on the subject, so that they independently carry out a "double-blind" evaluation and assess the possible publication of the work, considering the following criteria: originality, quality and academic level, contribution to knowledge and to teaching, clarity in the presentation, in the writing and in the literature, interest and topicality of the subject. The referee issues his opinion in a suggested format. The journal has previously reviewed the profiles of the referees and considers that they have sufficient academic knowledge to carry out their work with complete independence. The evaluation of articles by the authors of the National Polytechnic Institute is always done with external evaluators who do not belong to this institution, for their opinion. Confidentiality The arbitration process of the journal is carried out under the conditions of “double-blind” arbitration. (Double-Blind Peer Review). The journal reserves all the data of the authors and referees, the details and results of the process will only be revealed to those directly involved (authors and the editor).

Evaluation times

Between the call of the articles, their reception, their acceptance and delivery of the arbitration by the arbitrator, a maximum time of three months elapses. However, this period may be shorter or longer, depending on the availability of the arbitrators and other factors that could delay or speed up the process.

The journal will only send the authors an official communication about their article, once it has the result of the arbitration of two referees on conditional acceptance (with slight changes) or rejection (with modifications that imply a substantial rethinking of the article.

In the same way, it will inform when the article is not consistent with the interest of the magazine. In the event that there are differences in the two arbitrations received on the same article, the work will be sent to a third arbitrator to carry out the tiebreaker, except in the case in which the reasons for the rejection are very convincing in the opinion of the editor-in-chief in in which case the notification of rejection will be sent immediately to the authors. For approval in case of controversy, it will always be necessary to have two favorable opinions from the referees of the journal.

Delivery of corrections

If the arbitrations suggest slight modifications, the authors will be notified immediately to make the changes in a period not exceeding 5 days. If the article receives arbitration suggesting substantial modifications, and the edition estimates that it can be accepted for a new cycle of evaluations, the authors will have to submit their adjustments in a period not exceeding one month. At the end of this period, if the authors do not reply, the article is considered rejected due to the lack of interest of the authors in addressing the changes.

Rejection of articles

The purpose of the evaluation process in Administrative Research, in addition to validating the advances in knowledge in the thematic areas of the journal, is to offer an opportunity to the authors to improve their proposals and refine their approaches towards the construction of more solid articles. Authors are expected to take advantage of the referees' comments when their article is discarded for publication. The definitive rejection will be given when it does not correspond to the editorial line or theme of the magazine. Articles that seek to prove old theories where there is already abundant literature, do not make a rigorous review of the state of the art or use less rigorous data analysis methodologies are also rejected.
