Organizational Theory and Dynamic Capabilities

Main Article Content

Julián Miranda Torrez

Abstract

The present article aims to propose the current organizational theory as a new foundation of dynamic capabilities, to strengthen its theoretical construction and the realization of empirical research. The method was based on the application of the PRISMA model. Articles published in high-impact journals referenced in Web of Science, Scopus, Scimago, and by the "Academy of Management" and the "Strategic Management Society" were reviewed. The results reveal the emergence of new perspectives of the theory, which will allow the deepening of the theoretical and practical study of the construct. The findings will strengthen the theoretical frameworks and develop applications of the construct, considering the current and future reality. The originality is to propose new topics of study of dynamic capabilities in organizations that interact with complex, uncertain, volatile, and ambiguous environments, both national and international. The limitation is related to the analysis of some topics of organizational theory applied to the construct.
