Abstract

Due to the actual requerimentes of the international trade and the pressure made by different stakeholders , the aplicaron of the environmental administration has become a primordial aspect for all kind of organizations.
About it, this article deals with several questions of interest relative to this topic, especially those which are related with the design and application of the environmental administration systems in the organizations.
In the first part of this article, besides to tackle conceptual basic aspects related whith environmental administration, the essential elements which justify the aplication of the environmental administration in the organizations are given.
In second place, the elements which make the actual situation that is presented by the aplication of the environmental administration of the organizations, making a particular emphasis in the suggestions given by diffent specialists & investigators for the aplication of an environmental administration system.
Finally the main trends which are appreciated in the aplication of the environmental administration in the organizations are outlined.

Juan Carlos Díaz Villavicencio, National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico

Industrial Engineering from the University of Las Villas, Cuba, and a Master's in Business Administration from ESCA. He is a PhD student in Sciences with a specialization in Administrative Sciences from the Higher School of Commerce and Administration (ESCA) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).
