Abstract

It has been observed that a symbiotic relationship exists between the intrinsic and extrinsic purposes of organizations. This paper suggests that this relationship is somehow congruent with the achievement strategies that organizations employ, which allows them to be identified at the levels of technological development at which they operate and, consequently, the level of competitiveness they can manage in the markets where they operate.
