Self-Surrender at Work: A Study in a Mexican Community (Abstract)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The social structure of Mexican culture has been changing due to the rapid and growing introduction of industry in the country. There is little interest in the impact this has on the Mexican worker.
Research results indicate that an employee's self-perception can be influenced by the nature of the work they must do while in the workplace. The exact nature of this impact is still poorly understood. Furthermore, the extent to which a person is willing to actively participate in their work activity and the types of factors that affect their level of participation have not been precisely elucidated.
