Social foresight and development of higher education at the beginning of the 21st century

Abstract

This study aims to establish general frameworks of reference for planning the development of higher education institutions (HEIs) during the period 1989-2010, using information gathered from an analytical study of more than twenty papers conducted by Mexican researchers and experts on the forecasts for social macrosystems in the coming century.
