Relationship between failure and productivity
Main Article Content
Abstract
Current efforts based on so-called incentives and other types of motivational programs to increase productivity in industry are destined to fail. Contrary to popular belief, people cannot be motivated by the external environment. Greater productivity can only be achieved by reducing people's internal resistance to the productive instinct they already possess. This resistance is based on fear and, although it often operates on an unconscious level, is a legacy of the false beliefs that every human being acquires during the formative years of childhood.
