Contingent approach to the study of administration
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the study of administration, there have been several attempts to create a theoretical framework that describes and explains the administrative phenomenon. In this quest, some positive results have been achieved, which have been incorporated into the work of management in organizations, but on many occasions they have led to what Koont H. called the conceptual jungle of administration (1961:174). “This is also partly because administration is not yet a mature science, that is, there are no generally accepted paradigms that provide solutions to problems of knowledge and typical praxis or that propose solutions to related problems” (Jcffrey Pfeffer 1976:38).
