Abstract

Among the various topics that have captured the attention of specialists in organizational sociology is the problem of establishing the type of relationship that exists between the size of organizations and the degree to which each of them has experienced the changes in bureaucratization, diversification, and specialization that accompany the processes of organizational development. This article reports on the results of a preliminary analysis of these changes, as observed in the organizational context of a group of private schools selected from among the educational institutions of this nature that operate in the Federal District.
