Abstract

Statement of Principles.—The formulation of accepted principles as the basis for effective management dates largely to the time of Frederick W. Taylor and Henry L. Ganrt., the pioneers of scientific management in business. Alford of some 50 Laws of Management. In this chapter we summarize these various statements of principles.
