Abstract
theory with a corresponding philosophy. He has dedicated his efforts to delving into the philosophy that accompanies
systems theory, and not only into the scientific and technological aspects it entails. Therefore, we find it
appropriate to address his developments in systemic philosophy, focusing on what he himself considers the core and
most fundamental aspect: metaphysics. For our metaphysical purposes, it will be very instructive to go beyond the
progress that his metaphysical effort, which attempts to unite philosophy and science, has represented.
