THE SYSTEMS APPROACH IN ORGANIZATIONS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The origin of this approach dates back to the 1940s in Nazi Germany, where it was recognized that combat formations should be designed, trained, implemented, and dismantled.
Its founder or "inventor" was Zwíng von Bertalanffy, who formulated the "General Systems Theory" in 1947. Great Britain and the United States were immediate followers.
