PLANNING PERSPECTIVES
Main Article Content
Abstract
Since the end of World War II, planning, previously used only in socialist countries, has also spread to a large number of capitalist economies and has gained particular importance in developing countries, which are committed to programming their economic development. The use of planning methods has demonstrated the convenience of applying these techniques, especially in economies where the existence of unused productive resources demands their effective and sustained use. The countries devastated by the last Great War mark the beginning of the systematic use of planning schemes, which were then essential for properly channeling foreign aid and now constitute an example of how these techniques have evolved in the face of postwar economic changes.
