Abstract

The importance of science and technology in the modern world is highlighted, with an explanation of what these activities consist of and who their agents are. The concepts of invention and innovation are developed to ultimately determine the role of administration in this context.

Alejandro Schnarch, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel

A business administrator, he currently works as a member of a study group at the Research and Development Authority of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He was previously a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Management at the University of Chile.
