PROJECTION OF COMPUTER SCIENCE IN PETROLEOS MEXICANOS

Abstract

Electronic data processing at Petróleos Mexicanos began in 1966, although two small computers had already been in use. That year, a modern, medium-sized, multipurpose computer was installed in the general offices, which began recording inventory and warehouse movements, as well as the process of mechanizing the accounting systems.
