Abstract

The great leader of spiritual reform, Pope Paul VI, proclaimed in his famous encyclical that "development is the new name for peace." If this is true, as we believe it to be, and if we also accept the idea that administrators are the promoters of development, then we will accept that the maintenance of peace depends, to a significant degree, on the attitudes and philosophies adopted by administrators.
