Abstract
Although the functions and principles of management may be universally applicable, the philosophy of management is not the same throughout the world. For example, the approach to solving planning, organization, and control problems, and the desire for alternative solutions, are greatly influenced by heritage, customs, cultural attitudes, and the overall environment of the people involved.
