Usually ONCE A year, near silence falls o ver the manufacturing area. Machines halt, forklift trucks crawl at a leísurely pace, phones just about stop ringing, and a small workforce appears to converse occasionally in hushed tones. Operations have stopped for a physícal inven­tory.
