THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL VIRTUALIZATION ON THE COMPETITIVENESS OF COMPANIES

Abstract

This work contributes to the study of the complex phenomenon of organizational virtuality through the analysis of the interorganizational relation, supported by an Interorganizacional Information System (IOS), and the competitive effect of organizaational virtualization. Considering the organizational, strategic and technological aspects involved, a model of analysis are developed in order to identify possible areas of improvement which allow to increase virtuality. Finally, the conclusions derived from the application of this model to a group of that Spanish companies are widely exposed.
