Abstract

One of the principal characteristics of the progressive civilizations was their ability to produce and use the effective way information in the development of their organizations, this was the principal motive that gave step to the evolution of the information systems, their antecedent can be split into four stages: The stage of the Industrial Revolution, the stage of the modernization, the stage of the systems and procedures and the stage of the glGbaiizaiion of the industrial economies, same that have had a meaningful influence in the development of the companies. The information systems currently they are handled by personal specialized generating relevant information of the externa/ environment for strengthening of the executive function, the organizations consider three basic aspects for the acquisition of its information technologies, the first is the need of administration of the information, the second the importance of the utilization of the resources in the organizations and the third the administration of the new technology for their productive I use, the information systems currently are considered a tool of support fundamentally for the decisionmaking in the high address. The trend of the information systems is focused toward the integration of several processes contained in the design and development of information systems that favor important aspects of the executive function, to identify the degree of automation that has an organization is presented a classification of the systems in six categories, the administrative support systems that they are the combination of the administrative automation systems, the systems of decisions support and the executive information systems and the administrative information systems that envisage to the systems of the dictionary of information resources and the systems of models administration, the support that has in the organizations for the managing of the information throughthe various information systems will be the key for the workers, managing and executive in their operation processes, decisionmaking and projections through models of the stages future for the strategic plans establishment.
