Abstract

As a practical discipline, administration is as old as the earliest activities carried out in society. In accordance with the division of labor, its scope has expanded, without it being necessary to know that the diversification of administrative tasks was a process of specialization. The practice appeared before the existence of anything we would have to call by a generic name was known, because the concepts specific to it are not as old as its praxis. It was only very recently that the science of administration was established and specialized professions were created in various aspects of this discipline. One of the most recent, still in its infancy, is educational administration.
